Red By Wolves Ian Madine Prize
In 2014 Red By Wolves is intending to help support one less-priveleged child with a scholarship for university, in order to help encourage diversity and to help children from backgrounds that would not normally be encouraged to attend university. This will be valid for university degree study in England, Netherlands or Germany.
Applications will be open to those children:
a) currently receiving a state school/academy/free school education
b) in receipt of school meal funding
c) born in and officially/physically residing in London Borough of Hackney
d) school or academy located in London Borough of Hackney
e) currently studying for 3 A' Levels with anticipated grades of AAB or higher
f) applying-to (and is successful in entering) one of the following universities:
University of Oxford (All Colleges)
University of Cambridge (All Colleges)
University of London (UCL/SOAS/Birkbeck/LSE/Kings/Queen Mary/Goldsmiths/Royal Holloway/Heythrop)
Imperial College
Durham University
Bristol University
Warwick University
Manchester University
Liverpool University
York University
Leiden Universiteit (Netherlands)
Maastricht Universiteit (Netherlands)
Utrecht Universiteit (Netherlands)
Amsterdam Universiteit (Netherlands)
Ludwig Maximillians Universität (Germany)
Freie Universität Berlin (Germany)
All of the above criteria (a), (b), (c), (d), (e) and (f) must be fulfilled to be eligible to apply. Schools will be encouraged to submit applications for AS-level pupils for entry the following year.
